The new Dating feature of Facebook, which has been published in 20 countries, is expected to open up to new countries in the future. Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Suriname, Thailand, Uruguay and Vietnam. The feature is planned to open to European countries in early 2020.
Users can include Facebook and Instagram stories in their Facebook Dating profiles, while Secret Crush features a feature that we have already shared with you. Facebook Dating highlights include discovering users interested in the same groups and events and adding Instagram posts to the profile.
In the meantime, it is important to note that only users over the age of 18 can create a Facebook Dating profile separate from their Facebook profile with a single click. It is also worth mentioning that the candidates you will be offered will be determined according to your interests and other actions on Facebook.
As in Tinder, it is not possible to shift the candidates to the right or left. If you are interested in someone, you can directly leave a comment on their profile or press the like button. Finally, let's say Facebook Dating allows you to match your friends' friends or people who aren't in your circle of friends.
