As expected since the announcement at the E3 2019 in August of this year, Square Enix's Final Fantasy VII remake will be available exclusively to the PlayStation for one year. The Action RPG will be released March 3, 2020 and will receive Sony Timed Exclusive status through March 3, 2021.

So far, it was only clear that the Final Fantasy VII remake on two Blu-rays “first on the Playstation 4“Should be published. Now, however, Sony and Japanese developer Square Enix have added a new sticker labeled “Timed Exclusive until 3/3/21” to the official artwork of the sales packaging.
Hope for PC version is growing
Already the statement “first for PlayStation 4“Had aroused many players hopes for a PC version of the remake, the temporary PlayStation exclusivity does not detract from the now. Also Final Fantasy XV (test) only appeared in March 2018 for the PC, after it was released in November 2016 for the latest generation of Sony and Microsoft console.
The Standard Edition and the Deluxe Edition of the Final Fantasy VII Remake are available for € 69.99 * and € 89.99 * respectively via Amazon. The Limited Edition can be pre-ordered for € 299.99 directly through Square Enix.
Incidentally, Square Enix also announced the soundtrack to the Final Fantasy VII remake – including the 1997 original – on two vinyls, both of which are in the design of the original and the remake. A price for the double LP called the manufacturer yet.
