More devices get the July security patch
Samsung has just started rolling out a new update to the Galaxy A9 (2018) in Poland, Italy, and a few other markets. The update bumps the software version to A920FXXU2BSFB, although it may vary from region to region. In addition to the latest security patch, the update also introduces the Digital Wellbeing feature to the device.
The Galaxy J7 Pro is getting the latest security update in a number of countries. The new software version is J730GDXU6CSF5, but as said earlier, may vary from region to region. We do not have any changes yet, so we are not sure if this update adds any new features or simply introduces the July security patch. The J7 Pro got the Android Pie update last month.
To grab the new update on the air on your A9 (2018) or J7 Pro, open the phone's Settings app, select Software update, then tap Download and install, Alternatively, you can download the full firmware from our database (Galaxy A9 | Galaxy J7 Pro) and upgrade using a Windows PC.
