In recent years, Valve has expanded its offer beyond games and added films to its repertoire. However, the video division never seemed to get a foothold, because Valve announced in a blog post that this is now heavily restructured. The submenu has already been removed for this purpose.
After reviewing user behavior, Valve found that only a fraction of the users on Steam use video content that has nothing to do with gaming. Accordingly, the focus is reset and removed movies or videos that have no direct reference to games. All that remains is content that has this relation. Purchased purchases will continue to be available on Steam, only the new purchase will be blocked.
