WhatsApp: iPad-App in Entwicklung und Aus für Windows 10 Mobile

As WABetaInfo reports, WhatsApp is working on a messenger's iPad app. So far, WhatsApp can only be accessed via unofficial third-party apps on an iPad, but only WhatsApp Web is used and the smartphone with the WhatsApp installed must always be close to the iPad.

The development of the iPad version is to run for several weeks, when this will actually appear, but is still completely open. It is not yet available for beta testers. However, WABetaInfo already has the first screenshots of the iPad WhatsApp app. Accordingly, the iPad version is almost identical to the iPhone app. But as the tablet offers more space, the chats are displayed next to the active conversation, so you can switch between them faster.

Also introduced in February Face ID and Touch ID lock has made it according to the screenshots already in the iPad app. As a result, access to WhatsApp can even be secured even when the smartphone or tablet is unlocked.

According to current findings, the app is not limited to specific iPads, but is available to all models. That this does not change until the release is not sure. However, the development of an iPad version of WhatsApp after the release for Android tablets at the end of 2018 is not surprising.
